Hello
My name is Allison Neiss, and I am a potter based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I was raised. I live with my husband, our daughter, and our golden doodle, who adds an extra dose of joy and chaos to our lives. Fun fact, I am an identical twin (she is not a potter)!
My Story
From an early age, I always had a love for pottery. Whenever I would visit my Grandparents home I would admire their collection of pottery, and enjoyed hearing stories of where they found them during their travels. This inspired me to collect my own pottery as I traveled throughout the US and abroad.
This has led to my passion for hand building custom pottery to create functional, artistic, and one-of-a-kind pieces. I find joy in the creative process of working with clay and creating unique pieces. My ultimate objective is to add a touch of beauty to everyday life through my functional and sculptural pottery creations.
